Works created over a period of 57 years are presented in a single exhibition space—the paintings of artist Gogi Chagelishvili will be showcased at the National Gallery.
The exhibition is titled “Soc-Art to Present Day” and will display the famous Georgian artist’s body of work across several creative stages. The exposition will also include paintings created during the latest period, specifically dedicated to the ongoing events in Ukraine.
The recently renovated National Gallery is hosting Goga Chagelishvili’s paintings for the first time. The presented exhibition is only a part of the artist’s immense creative output. Visitors will have the opportunity to view works created in different genres and eras, all in one space.
